Kramer, Cecelia (Marriage - 6 June 1942)
Justice of Peace Stanley M. Thomson read the marriage vows when Miss Cecelia Kramer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kramer of Colby, became the bride of Elroy Hanne, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hanne, of Colby, Wis. The double ring ceremony took place Saturday afternoon at 1:30.
The bride was gowned in white slipper satin, made with long sleeves which ended in points over her hands. Her veil, of fingertip length, was edged with lace. She carried a bouquet of red and pink roses.
Her only attendant, Miss Mildred Estrume, wore a floor length pink net dress, made with a low, square neckline and puffed sleeves. Lace inserts ornamented the dress. Her bouquet was of roses and sweet peas.
Eldred Hanne, twin brother of the bridegroom, served as best man.
Forty guests attended the wedding supper. The dining room was decorated in pink, white and blue streamers and a large white wedding bell. A three-tiered wedding cake centered the table.
In the evening, a wedding dance was held at Cherokee hall.
